Non Payment

Does anyone else agree with me that Ebay does not do enough to deal with non payers.  They really have to get on top of this problem. If you went to an auction you would have to pay straight away you are not given four days to decide if you want to pay or not.

Re: Non Payment

I had to refund someone last week when they said item not as described when in
fact it was exactly as described but it was easier to refund they kept the item and
got a full refund very unfair

I have a principle of always insisting I have the item back, even though it costs me more. Except ... it is surprising how many buyers decide to keep the item anyway when it is clear they are not getting to keep the item and receiving a full or partial refund.

It doesn't appear that way when you attempt to perform as a Buyer.

Sellers do not create the rules.

Buyers and Sellers should work together and reduce created problems.

Re: Non Payment

One of my regular Australian customers was banned from bidding on auctions due to the number of non-payments. The problem was just like you he was trying to get combined invoices from sellers who didn't respond. Rather than requesting a cancellation of the sales he just let then sit in his purchases as he was not prepared to pay multiple lots of postage to Australia knowing that the seller would most likely combine the purchases in one packet & pocket the over paid postage.

Re: Non Payment

I guess you can add that member to your exempt list which will allow them to bid on your items....if you have not already done so.

Maybe that member could explain the situation to other sellers items they are interested in and get them too to add them to their exempt list.
