No clear timescale now for mandatory Simple Delivery

Who remembers ebay stating that Simple Delivery was going to be rolled out from 7th April and mandatory from 15th April?   A lot of us took our listings down on the basis of those given dates.

As at the beginning of May, this is what the Simple Delivery info page now says:

From 15 April, we’ll gradually introduce Simple Delivery …. etc

From 15 April, Simple Delivery is the only delivery method …. etc.  We'll be introducing this change in phases over the coming weeks.

Ebay are getting more and more Orwellian.  We’ve already got the 1984-like Doublespeak and Big Brother control-freakery of Simple Delivery, and now we’ve got the surreptitious alteration of text à la Animal Farm.

Ha Yes I remember, how could I forget - on the 7th April I took down my listings and stopped selling because of their stupid delivery, after over 20 years of buying and selling, I no longer sell, and I no longer browse, I still buy occasionally what I need on here but the money I had to buy was because I had sold something, do they care nope, will they even notice probably not will they revert to how it used to be

certainly hope so but like many others I am not holding my breath!
