I have recently had my first bad experience in 22 years. I sold a Samsung tablet to someone and got paid. After 3 weeks, the buyer said that they are having some issue with the batter and wanted to return the item. He then totally stopped communicating with me. I sent him many messages suggesting few options and asking him if he could send me a diagnostic screen shot of the battery but no reply. I contacted eBay and was told to accept the return. I have now received the tablet back and as suspected, there is nothing wrong with the battery. I had to pay back the full money plus all the postages. The eBay policy that "buyers cannot return an item if they have changed their mind" is absolutely rubbish. In fact with Buyers Protection, any buyer can return items within 30 days with any petty excuse without giving any evidence. Ebay mediation is absolutely rubbish. They do not do anything. Sellers beware

This has always been the case.
Sellers who have a "no returns" policy always run the risk of buyers opening a "Not as described" case so they can return the item and so so at the seller's expense.
Put them on your blocked list so they can't buy from you again.

If the tablet was fine when you got it back/no problem with the battery, what do you think was the real reason they wanted to return it?
Is it one of those dodgy things unscrupulous buyers get up to... buy an item to use for a while, then return for a full refund?
