I haven't been posting for while but given the flurry activity today which was generated by the original thread being locked out , again . I have decided to renew my interest
Lets hope the original thread will be re-instated as quite frankly while certain posts may have been "off topic" they were still related to buying and selling on Ebay so the reason given was a bit flawed to say the least . The most off topic were mainly placed by those who a limited affinity to the thread and some were probably a bit jealous of the popularity of this thread compared to some of their own
Perhaps how close this thread to meeting 10000 posts gives a better reason on why someone at Ebay would want to get this thread shut down . Shutting it down in such a fashion does nothing for the credibility of Ebay customer services and lets hope they take immediate action to rectify the situation .
Simple Delivery is still a contradiction in terms as it lacks basic simplicity and Buyer Protection is a con to force buyers to pay the sales related fee, that was traditionally paid by sellers . There is no tangible extra protection that this fee offers and in real terms it gives negative message about sellers and the integrity of the platform .
