New tracking messages in the ebay order? POSTED TO BUYER Running behind, original estimate was Mon 8

Hi,

Has anyone else got this new message on the tracking information in the Ebay order? I am wondering if it is a test or a permanent new brilliant feature!

POSTED TO BUYER - Running behind, original estimate was Mon 8 Jan - Tue 9 Jan

This is now appearing on my orders for buyers who bought items on Sunday 7th so the items were not posted until Monday 8th and would not arrive until Wednesday 10th at the earliest.

I know the estimated deliveries have been erratic for some time but now they are telling the buyer that the parcel is 'running behind' this is getting absolutely ridiculous!

How long did you have to wait till it eventually arrived.

As long as you have a tracking number for the item, I would wait another few days. Deliveries are always slower after the weekend and you may see an update sometime tomorrow.

If it doesn't arrive by the end of the week, open an INR ( I didn't get my item) case.

This is happening on a regular basis, i think they promise fast delivery to pull you in 🙄

I order when listings state delivery in three days sadly this rarely happens, i would prefer honesty on actual realistic delivery times.
