I dont so much mind the new fee format, although its another things ebay has done to favour private sellers over businesses. The benefits given for business sellers on the email was just fluff to distract from the main subject, those "benefits" should be a given.
Part of ebays idea is it will bring more buyers to the platform which in theory will be great if it works out, but i'm personally already at a point where i would rather sell my items else where, i have my items listed across multiple platforms and would prefer to take the sale on any of them before ebay.
I can get a significant amount more selling else where over ebay, if the cost of ebay for business was fairer i think it would make business sellers around happier
right now i pay £92.4 per month just for a shop fee, last month i exceeded the store limit and incurred an extra £31.74 in fees thats just for having a business subscription, on other platforms it doesnt cost anywhere near if not completely free.
Then we have the general fees.... Final Value Fee, Regulatory operating fee, International Fee and finally Promotion fees because items suffer without it
So after all of those fees, when i get an offer for something which i probably would accept on other platforms i simply dont on ebay because the end figure would be a waste of time
So bringing more buyers to the platform is great but doesnt fix the problem of ebay taking way too much of the pie and now they are cutting revenue from private sellers, this means business sellers are going to pick up the slack, so i cant see the main problem with ebay getting any better

eBay doesn't suit everyone. If your situation really is as bad as you say it is, I'm surprised you are still here. I suspect your gripes are outweighed by the massively greater exposure your ebay listings get, in comparison to your other platforms. No doubt you also get a significant amount of business from these listings.
Otherwise, why are you still here?

its more of having has much exposure as possible to ensure income is always coming, i still like income from ebay i just dont favour it
and i have built alot of ground on ebay and hope it will get better for businesses, i dont want to be one of the ones to close up shop and jump ship, rather hang tight and hope for improvements
