NO LONGER SELLING DUE TO SIMPLE DELIVERY

AS OF 15TH APRIL MY DAYS AS A PRIVATE EBAY SELLER WILL STOP AFTER 19 YEARS.

I AM FED UP OF THE GREED OF EBAY AND I HOPE OTHER EBAY SELLERS DECIDE TO NO LONGER LET THE EBAY CONTROL FREAKS HAVE THIS MUCH CONTROL OVER PRIVATE SELLERS.

Well said, I think a huge number have already stopped selling - I have. Gone to another platform which has been flying under the radar but I genuinely think it's going to take a huge amount of business away from Ebay especially as it's a UK company.

Come off it in what way are you not supposed to be a business seller? You want to drop seller protection and simple delivery? Move to business seller.

Cannot believe NO Tracked 24 on simply delivery just Tracked 48 and that's not even signed for , are eBay utter clueless

I'm still able to sell my existing ebay listings under the old postage system. I haven't listed anything new on ebay since they started enforcing SD on new listings. I will eventually for some items as a last resort but for now I've been focusing on things that can be listed at the clothing platform but I'm pacing myself as stuff seems to sell quicker there and I don't want too much packing and posting work next week.

It's got nothing to do with being a Business Seller...... It's got to do with mathematics and simple common sense...... Anyone with any intelligence can see that .....

Royal Mail Tracked 24 is the Express Tracked Delivery option on Simple Delivery.

It doesn't matter about the seller..... The seller is doing what they want to do, and it's not up to me to make any judgement, the seller has a right to sell how they see fit...... And the Seller has a right to express their opinion, especially when they are just saying what the rest of us think.... Too many people on here setting themselves up as eBay police ..... Does it make you feel better rummaging around on other people's accounts,and coming to conclusions that might not be true.... Basically, who cares what other people are doing...... And why are other people highlighting to eBay what other people are doing...... That is generally why people don't get changes in anything in life , because we are too busy picking needless fights with other people.....when we should be sticking together....

I’d be more bothered if I was a business selling the same thing as that seller. Or a buyer who can’t rightly return something because they don’t accept returns as they legally should. EBay don’t do anything anyway so it shouldn’t bother but hey, you never know maybe the poster didn’t realise they should be a business and they then realise.

I may have been looking in the wrong place but i saw a figure of 6,340,974 on the 27th and 6,346,733  on the 28th ( know sad that i am even checking AFTER i moved!).   A few of those items  are mine and i have more to go.   Not a lot compared to e bay but as long as it is going up it is hopeful.

I keep an eye on that number,  the one for Worldwide and the number of new listings in the previous 24 hrs.

From memory, maybe a bit off as I haven't had 2nd coffee yet.

You will see that the UK figure cycles up and down regularly.  IMO it's the effect of so many Platinum sellers doing their regular re-lists with over-lapping schedules.

Other things worth taking a look at, on the Home Page scroll right down the bottom to see "Recently Sold" items.  It's often interesting and can sometimes be an eye opener re. what does sell there.  Yesterday morning a vintage valve tester sold for £120 😮.   Last night's snap-shot I caught was for a dozen different film clips of 5 frames that I think are bought by graphic artists?  A bit like ebay used to be.

Also on their boards is a thread "Maximise your E*** store" that has some interesting numbers and ideas.

Too be honest, I have no idea what "elpsis" is or why you are telling me to go to a URL..... I don't know what that is either....I always find it easier to explain yourself in pain English, and at the end of the day, I do not care....I just noticed you expressing your opinion about someone expressing their opinion, so I thought I'd express my opinion ..... This is my exact same thought, after 18 years I will also be doing the same, I am sick and tired of their greed, Ebay Insurance or tax on paid goods now this its disgusting all because " Its now free to sell" yeah whatever ...greedy ...@##@
