As of today ebay funds will be available two days after item delivered - does anyone know what happens if the item shows as dispatched and not delivered for ages how long before the funds are released to the seller

Under the new rules,  if there is no tracking to show delivery payouts from those sales,  will be held for 14 days before release.

I sold an item for £578 a few weeks ago.

Posted special delivery on a Monday.

Arrived with buyer on Tuesday with tracking showing signature and photo of handover.

Buyer left positive feedback on the Wednesday.

Yet eBay showed still in transit for 9 days after I posted item.

I withdrew money 10 hours after buyer paid, but in new world (4th of feb onwards) I would not have got paid for 12 days in this case.

This is why I will no longer sell high value items on eBay.

Once my listings finish that’s it for me.
