Live Animal Policy - Incorrect Listing Removals

I've had a nightmare with listings being incorrectly removed by ebay due to falling foul of the Live Animal Listing ban - the items being removed are not animals they have all been various types of microalgae cultures, all classified as plants - they are used mainly as fish foods so have been listed in the Pet/Fish/Food section.  I have had to relist and change the listings multiple times to try and find a way of wording the listings to stop then from being taken down and I have been raising appeals for all the items (no response back yet over the last week).

And meanwhile - I can see a large business seller has listings explicitly selling the types of animals that have been banned and the listing remains up, active and selling.

Anyone having issues with listings being incorrectly taken down?  I have already stopped selling a number of live animals off the back of the policy, but it seems even trying to sell legitimate items now is getting impossible... for some at least.

eBay makes up its own rules as it goes along

“What we’ve got here is failure to communicate.”
