Is there a time limit on a buyer leaving negative feedback, I sold a small hand made new fishing item at the beginning of JUNE and received Negative - feedback that the item was slightly damaged when received and used for the 1st time 2 month later on the 1st week of AUGUST. The buyer was repaid in full including original postage cost as it was only a £6 item and told to not bother returning it. The problem was a minor loose fitting that could easily be rectified and my request for a feedback revision was activated to positive Is there any form of E-bay buyer protection if this happens?

Members have 60 days in which to leave feedback.
Not sure what you mean by your last line in connection to your case, as the negative was resolved by the buyer completing a feedback revision, so .... ' Is there any form of E-bay buyer protection if this happens? '
What kind of buyer protection is needed here? The buyer you said, was fully refunded, what other protection do they need?
If you meant 'seller protection' , then buyers can always open return cases for defective items within 30 days of that item's last estimated date for delivery, this is under eBay' 30 day MBG, so seller will always need to refund here. Appeal later if you wish, but it's not easy as eBay do not see the item in question.

Hi metalmicky1944, thanks for your post.
Buyers have 60 days to leave feedback, you can more information on this here. Regarding your second question, I am presuming that you are asking if we have a system in place to appeal a negative feedback you don't agree with? If so, then the answer is yes. You can request removal of the feedback in question here. However, just to set the right expectations, based on your comments, I'm not sure this feedback would qualify for removal.
Alternatively, you can send your buyer a revision request, but they can accept you request to rectify their feedback, or decline and leave it as it is.
Thank you,
Marco
