I am a hobby/private seller and I only ship overseas via Ebay's Global Shipping Programme. So far the orders I have sent have all arrived at GSP Centre and have been successfully forwarded to the customer. However an item I sent on Monday 10th November using Simple Delivery does not appear to have arrived at GSP Centre (Item No.376680297562).
The Ebay help pages indicate that my item is not covered for loss or damage until it is dispatched from GSP. This suggests that if my item has not arrived at GSP Centre I have to contact Royal Mail, but Simple Delivery guidance is to contact Ebay. The help pages are a little vague and in some cases the links are out of date. I am unable to find any way of contacting GSP directly. Any advice as to how I should proceed would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks

SD will have been used to send to the GSP UK hub so if buyer opens a "not received" case ebay will refund and you keep payment.

I would wait a bit longer. RM seem to be very slow delivering at the moment.
As you have used SD, you are covered for loss but I would deal with that if your buyer opens a case, which would be in a few weeks. You may find it has been delivered to the hub before that happens.

Have you checked the tracking on the Royal Mail website? Sometimes Ebay tracking is a bit slow to catch up.
Apologies if you have done this - not everyone would think to check RM Tracking.

Yes I've regularly checked with RM and it is still showing as 'We've Got It'!

As long as you have evidence of posting the item, for the moment, I wouldn't do anything.
Hopefully, the tracking will update - it's still early days - or you will have confirmation of delivery to your buyer.

At the moment, Royal Mail seem to be scanning a lot of items into their network, the day before they are going to deliver it.
I sent a few items out last week via my personal account, so they all used Simple Delivery. One that I dispatched on the 10.11.2025, shows Royal Mail saying that they have it on the same day, and then there was zero update/tracking until 14.10.2025 when tracking said it had reached Sheffield. It is still to be delivered.
Others that I posted later in the week, were delivered within 2 to 4 days.

Sheffield deliveries can be really slow. As someone who lives in Sheffield I know that RM have staffing issues. If my regular postman is off work, we frequently have no-one to do the round so we get no mail for days. Other delivery rounds are similar and some don’t have a regular postie either.

It may help you and be prudent to nip any buyer discontent in the bud by just letting them know of the problem and ask for their patience.
