This is regarding the order OJ573161492GB.
The item as per Tracking has been delivered yesterday afternoon in the collection point and suggests waiting for collection by Buyer.
However ebay suggests "It's on the way". The item has not been updated appropriately in time and no QR has been sent to me for collection.

Good morning.
That is the tracking number rather than the order number, which does indeed record the package as having been delivered by RM to the collection point yesterday.
If you have not been sent the code for collection via email or text please contact customer service via the Help & Contact button at the top left of your page.

Sorry that does not help. ebay help will kick in only post certain number of days.
Whose responsibility is it to generated the QR? ebay or the seller. Please contact the relevant team for the same to be done so that I can use my time in better place.

This is a Community of eBay users providing help and advice only - we cannot intervene in your transactions.
As the buyer it is for you to seek the help from "the relevant team".
Have you mentioned this to the seller whom I feel certain will be as concerned as yourself to resolve the issue?
Good luck.

Hi bipmis_37, thanks for your post.
If this is still ongoing, could you please confirm the item number, so I can take a further look for you please?
Thank you,
Marco

Are we getting a couple of things mixed up here - QR codes and eCP numbers?
A buyer would get a QR code if they were collecting the item from a seller.
However, he would get an eCP number if it was going to Click and Collect.
I'm not sure of the "etiquette", but, if the seller is confident he is dealing with his buyer, he could give him the eCP number, which he would have added as part of the address.
Although, perhaps he didn't add the eCP number, which would be the most likely reason for the buyer not receiving notification of delivery (in which case, giving hm the eCP number won't actually help.).

The tracking suggests this is not an "eCP" click and collect order which uses the Argos/Sainsburys/CollectPlus network. The item was delivered to a Post Office or Royal Mail Customer Service Point using RM's own Local Collect service. RM sends SMS and email notifications to the recipient when the item is ready to collect similar to a "Something for you" card. As far as I am aware there are no special codes the sender needs to include in the address label for this service. The buyer selects their preferred collection point during checkout and the corresponding address label is generated automatically.
I wasn't even aware the RM service was integrated with eBay. At least, I can't see it in the list of available delivery services but it might be something an RM business customer is able to integrate with their eBay account.
