Is there an option to add my own postage stamps to packages?

I have lots of stamps which I've always used for posting packages. I listed an item as free postage so I could use my own stamps and chose Royal Mail. Ebay have taken £2.92 for tracked postage from my earnings. Is there a way to stop Ebay interfering and use an option for me to use my own postage method with no charge to the buyer or seller?

Hope this makes sense.

Under Simple delivery, Free Postage means eBay charge you for the provided tracked label.  If you do not use it,  you need to manually cancel the label for a refund.

You'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

Be aware,  adding just stamps to an item, you'll have no tracking to prove delivery, so your payouts will be held for a minimum of 14 days before release.

Ebay's Simple Delivery is "mandatory" except for items which are prohibited; and for those which meet specific conditions for it to be optional.

It's possible that ebay will take action, or refuse refunds, for those just avoiding using SD.
