This is a brief question about a recent INR claim I have received. The buyer had already given fairly detailed and relevant positive feedback for the item, so I queried, in the case, whether he had actually received it.
He simply replied "item received", but has not closed the request. It was a fairly low value item, but sent to USA, so the total, including postage, is a little over £15.00. (LL sized so not sent tracked, as that is much more expensive for USA LLs)
How can I ensure he does not receive the refund?
I've read cases here, advising sellers to avoid contacting eBay, as they seem to automatically refund and close the case. Rather than involving them through the case, would I be best to phone tomorrow morning, and try and get CS in Ireland?

Message the buyer and tell them to close the case.

I should have added that I did that, as soon as I saw his message confirming receipt, two days ago.
I think he may have sussed that he might still get the refund.

Thanks Marco@ebay - It is now resolved. I just didn't want it to time out. I appreciate your help.
