I really hate the new system of payment for private sellers

Why do we have to wait 2 days after delivery before we get our money?

It is annoying when you pay extra for next day delivery so you can get your money 3 days later only for parcel is not delivered the next day because buyer wasn't in to take the parcel. This delays things. I am really peeved off with this. Now I find my buyer is on holiday until May 1st. GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just posted about this on another thread. I dispatch within hours, two days later delivery is attempted and failed, then the item is redirected to some sorting office or other where it languishes until the buyer decides to pick it up, then it's two days before the funds arrive on Ebay and, assuming I log in immediately, another three before they're in my bank account. All the while Ebay are earning interest from the money, which of course is the object of the exercise. What a scam. What a toilet.

Abusive behaviour should never be condoned, it only encourages even worse treatment.
