I'm getting really annoyed

I'm getting so annoyed. I don't know if anybody else experiences this, but my tracking does not update, it doesn't even look like I have taken it to the post office. My late delivery rate is now on 0.56. I know that doesn't sound much but it's never been that high in all the years I've been selling and it's mainly on all my large letters 2nd class that I buy through ebay with Royal Mail, but I am now  noticing it on some of my tracked mail. How do I get around this. I'm so good at posting my parcels the same day and I know it doesn't seem a lot but it's just going to keep getting worse, then it will effect my seller status which then stops my 10% discount on fees and it's totally out of my control and doesn't seem fair.

Couple of things that may be doing this, firstly the data on ebay site is populated by the carriers, so until many of them send data across (say twice a day for example) it wont update ebays pages correctly. I always check say against Royal Mail first.

The other thing is if you are buying ebay labels when you take them to the post office are they scanning them in to the system or just dropping in to the mail bags? If the latter then the tracking code doesn't get activated, until Royal Mail scan probably on delivery (if a standard large letter) Also are the items over 100gms? IF they are they should generate a 16 digit code on the label. Which provides proof of dlivery.

Technically if your post office is on the ball, they should scan each parcel as they will get an acceptance fee for doing so, albeit its a couple of pence per item, however many take umbridge that say ebay or other platforms can undercut the post office and so I have seen examples of items just being placed in to the mail bags, even more noticeable at busy times of the year. - Only you will know how good or what your post office does.

Hi, Thank you for replying. My post office are fab they scan every parcel. I send everything under 300g 2nd class postage and it uploads a number to the listing. I used to just write my envelopes out and take them to get a stamp on but it takes forever when I have lots to send out so decided not that long ago to go through ebay with my 2nd class postage labels aswell as my tracked but it just seems to be working against me. I'll either have to go back to writing my envelopes or through the royal Mail website which is also a pain having to input everything it's so much easier just buying it through Ebay especially now when it's  my best season for selling. I'm sure it's probably not that deep to most but when I like to do everything in my power to stay on top of everything it just gets to me 😂

When I started buying my 2nd class through Ebay also I didn't even realise that it showed it had been delivered, I always thought the number was just showing you had bought it so I was really pleased about that until obviously now I'm getting marked down for it not updating and some are from weeks ago but I've had feedback given, so they have recieved them.
