How to appeal an incorrect policy violation?

I had a listing removed due to a policy violation, which was incorrect (product recall that did not apply to the manufacturing run of the item that I sold, as detailed in the document they linked me to!) The problem is, it had already sold and been posted! No idea why it took 5 days from listing the item to it being (again, INCORRECTLY) flagged, or why it only became apparent after it had been posted.

I am completely unable to get through to a human on their godawful chat system, which now doesn't even let me use it at all, it's just greyed out displaying the final part of my attempt to get some customer service.

I just want an acknowledgement that they're cocked up and that I will receive my funds!

How to appeal an incorrect policy violation?

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Thanks, I got straight through and had the issues resolved! Shame they don't make that option more readily available

Ah, but if they did, you would find it a lot busier and harder to get through!
