Hello all
All l want is to remove feedback that I left for the wrong buyer. Simple eh? No, for some reason ebay make it impossible to change. I have never liked this situation, and knew that sooner or later I would fall foul of it, and yesterday I did.
Its a dreadful policy and can't understand why we cant change it, I don't like being treated like a two year old.
I have left a follow up comment, but even so wish to delete it, anyone know if there is a way please?
Thanks Dave

I believe that your only option is to request a free callback from eBay support/customer service and explain where you've gone astray, using the following link
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
Or message your buyer and ask him to request of eBay a feedback removal owing to the false positive and relevance.

leaving a false positive for a buyer is serious feedback abuse.
you can contact eBay and they will remove the comment.
Always best to know the rules - leaving false positives for buyers can seriously damage your account.

Hi ed_58611
Many thanks for the link, I would never have found the contact without your help. I followed it and a polite administrator rang me back with a minute. Went through security and the (accidental) feedback has now been removed. Downside is that I cannot leave correct feedback, but no matter..... I will have to check more carefully before I press the button in future, my mistake.
I still think the eBay policy is wrong on not being able to correct feedback.
Cheers Dave

The policy isn't wrong at all, all you need to do if none of the advice above work is send a polite message to the seller and ask them to send you a feedback revision request form and you can correct it/change it.
Edit: Ignore my comments above this is if you are the seller. Apologies.

Its not as easy as that by any means. I have just tried to find the method to 'request a feedback revision' on something I bought yesterday and can not find how to do it, so how can I request my purchaser to do it? As it is I have addressed the issue, so I will just be more careful in the future, but I stand by what I said.

Only sellers can send feedback revision requests.

eBay makes things difficult by hiding "Help' in plain sight on every page.
