How do I stop getting automatically charged for postage labels

I’m getting thoroughly teed off with eBay automatically taking out the cost of a prepaid postage label without me asking for it.  Given my very dodgy printer, I prefer to use royal mails bring a label service.

Then you need to stop buying postage through ebay (or using Simple Delivery).

To opt out of Simple Delivery click on "Switch to advanced options" at the bottom of the postage section during the listing or revising process.

It sounds like you are using the new 'Simple Delivery' system, which has recently taken over. You don't get much choice, as it is all automated.

You can still opt out of Simple Delivery if you want to choose your own postage. Click on the 'Switch to advanced options' link, when you are listing an item, or relisting/revising.

Yes, if you take your eye off eBay, or haven't sold for a while, you find all sorts of changes have been made - most of them unwanted!

I think a lot of people don't realise they can opt out of Simple Delivery, at least for the time being. Many of us would prefer to continue to sort out our own postage, but eBay want to take over the whole postage system, because it is a money-making opportunity...
