Help Needed – eBay Ads and General Just Plummeted Since March

Hi everyone,

Since March, my eBay ads have completely dropped off in performance. I was consistently running ads with a daily budget of £100, setting promoted listings above the suggested rate. This setup gave me great results earlier in the year, generating nearly £600 in revenue per day with a ROAS of around 7 and a conversion rate of 15%. Between January and February, I saw nearly 12 million impressions, but that has now plunged to around 905,000 over the past two months.

The decline started in March when I lost my Top Rated Seller status. Since then, I've switched to using percentage-based ads (still above the suggested rate), but I'm not seeing any sales come through now. My account still has a 98% positive rating and over 4,000 items sold, so I'm unsure why my impressions and sales have taken such a hit.

Any insights or advice on improving my ad performance would be greatly appreciated!

(I lost my top seller status due to being in the hospital many times in February and many times staying overnight, could there be a way to get the late delivery defects removed due to this circumstance)

I reckon it's to do with the fact they did away with Promoted Listings Express for auctions. It was an entirely separate promotion for auctions where they paid £4-5 for the auction duration and competed differently. Now auctions have the same percentage based sale promotion as buy it nows, so whole thing is messy. I don't even understand the auction promo now. U can change the percentage at any time so it makes no sense.
