HELP please Cannot change listings to SD

Some of my listings have changed to SD by eBay but I want to change my others to SD manually. Now I realise these have to be done individually (total pain as not bulk edit for this), but the problem is it is not giving me the option of SD on some of them.

I used to subsidise postage previously but now cannot afford to do this, so just want to bite the bullet and get them all onto SD at the same time rather than wait for eBay to role out my other listings.

Any ideas as totally frustrated.

Hate all these changes but will give them a go. Biggest bug-bare is having to wait so long for payment now. Particularly after a Bank Holiday! TIA

whilst everyone’s complaining about sd for various reasons and how to avoid it

yes I tried too to convert one custom listing to SD and there was no option

i dont know why

other listings I could just toggle between custom and sd

You could always just end and sell similar I suppose if you’re really keen 🤭

ebay will convert them all it’s been said by the end of this month or so but it’s better you do it because once their gremlins are let loose your postage could say anything

Try:

End listing. Find it in the ended listings. Select "Sell Similar".

Whenever I "sell similar" my listings try to push me into Simple Delivery.

Thanks - I just don't want any surprises so would rather do it myself so at least I have a bit of control (yes even funnier I know given what's happening).

Tried both Relist and Sell Similar and still no option. I could honestly just give up right now. Losing the will to live with eBay now .

I'd welcome a little consistency.  Of the handful of items I listed a few days ago only one had the SD option - a blouse.  I thought that maybe it's certain categories but a pair of jeans has custom postage (RM Tracked 48 has always been my go-to postage preference) - seems odd that some clothing is SD and some isn't.  Purses and handbags listed are without SD.

Whereas I used to offer freepost I'm quoting postage on all my listings - some semblance of uniformity.

I find it odd that the listing templates for any listing created by a private seller don't all show SD only option, particularly when that original go-live date has passed.

However much I oppose these recent changes I'm prepared to give it a whirl to see how it works for me.  I'll just drop prices gradually rather than send offers because that seems like a mini hot-mess and I don't often sell more than one item to the same buyer so combined invoices probably won't impact me, particularly when the buyer will still pay multiples of the BPF anyway.

The whole question is academic if nothing actually sells.

S.D. is being rolled out with all the smoothness of the surface of the moon 😂 It is as lumpy a.f.

ebay CS have mentioned that the latest date, when all private sellers *should* be crushed into S.D, will be the 28th of April.

Frankly I'm not holding my breath..... CS are renowned for telling porkies and ebay systems are in a complete mess.

Newsflash:  Jeans original listing from a couple of days ago still shows as RM tracked 48, but if I use that to "sell similar" it has SD as the offering, plus I have to manually opt out of GSP, which I haven't used for years.  Let me know when the "Simple" kicks in?

If you're not in a hurry to flog your stuff instantly, I'd recomend holding fire for just a few days.

The ebay computer is a bubbling mess of contradictions at the moment ☹️
