Hey all,
This morning I've had several customers contact me from the US saying that even though they are watching my items, and could purchase them yesterday through the GSP they can no longer do this and all my other items that they are not watching are now no longer showing in the US.
To check this I've had somebody I know in the US check mine, and other UK sellers to see if its just me, but it seems its everybody! they can no longer purchase and the postage option is no longer showing.
Was the US Just turned off? or taken off the list?
Was there any news, or information on this?
This is a big hit to sales as eBay is used for global sales for us.
I know the UK was taken off the international program in the US for toys a few months ago, but i wonder if this is simliar?

I went by the fact that it's been working for me and other people on here stating that it works for them. Again, you're ranting at the wrong person.

Yes it is a problem, I had a similar response when I asked a little while ago.
Still an issue, how long does it take to fix..

It's horribly intermittent. I sold an item to the US last week. Now just had another customer saying it's blocked for them??? No pattern to it.

Same for me, a guy with a USA account couldn't get a quote to ship to Mexico...

Got an email today from ebay about usa gsp needing the country of manufacturing stated in the item specifics for it to be available. All listings that I have added it to have become available in the US.
Part of the email:
We’re reaching out to inform you about selling to buyers in the United States through the Global Shipping Programme. Currently, your listings may not be available to US buyers if they’re missing the country of manufacture (also known as the country of origin). To ensure your items are visible to millions of US buyers, we recommend updating this information as soon as possible.

Is the USA still temporarily paused with GSP for sales from the UK

I just checked one of your listings, @the_3d_room, and it shows the United States as a ships-to location. I went through the motions of changing my shipping address from Canada to a US one without actually committing to purchase the item, and didn’t encounter any roadblocks.

No, it should all be working now. You just have to make sure that you have entered the country of manufacturing in the item specifics and it will allow for gsp to the usa.

Pity eBay has not told sellers this unless I missed it? I did manage to figure it out and how to send items to the USA (via Royal Mail is best as they produce the necessary paperwork) but it required a phone call with eBay who kindly explained how. Now my items do show up in the USA when folks search and it is just as easy to send and cheaper than with the GSP. So even when eBay do sort it out I shall continue to send via Royal Mail International tracked which I repeat is cheaper and just as easy to use as GSP, oh and delivery is quicker too. So in a way thank you eBay as you have saved me and my buyers time and money.

Silly question as I haven't sold abroad for long time till a couple of weeks ago, and even before everything went through the programm.
Is GSP US only or Europe as well?
Anyway. Out of the blue sold a couple of items, to Europe. Postage came out as international RM (I haven't removed them after enrolling), ok, do that way then. Checked GSP settings, all on.
Curious why, can buyers chose what to use? In my understanding, GSP is like SD, once one, everything goes through them.
