Funds on Hold

How many sales before my funds are not put on a 14 day hold?

14 days seems excessive to me even for new sellers.

Funds on Hold

There's a little misunderstanding here.

A Buyer Protection Fee has been introduced this month.

For Private sellers this means tracking showing delivery of items will release the payout 2 days after that delivery date.

No tracking?  Then payouts are held for 14 days.

Items of a value of £10 or less,  do not require tracking and here,  if feedback is left,  payouts are released sooner.

The above is for all Private sellers new and ' old'.

As a new seller , you may be subject to a different longer hold , of around 21 days.

Here eBay need to see that you are a good eBayer,  posting items promptly, and tracking showing delivery.

eBay won't confirm the number needed to halt that longer hold,  but a steady stream of good deliveries should soon see you up with the ' regular holds'  explained above.

Thanks for that.

I understand the buyer protection racket.

I am not a new seller really. I have been selling on ebay for over 20 years with over a thousand 100% feedbacks but now I have opened a new 2nd account for reasons not relevant here.

The 14 day period is quite excessive. Buyers have left me positive feedback.
