I confess that I am struggling with this, as I've not been on since last September! Having finally negotiated my way/taken the plunge to click on funds available, etc. - I'm confused. Where's the deduction of the final value fee, does anyone know please? Thanks.

There are no Final Value Fees for Private sellers. It's Free to sell . Only listing fees when you select optional listing upgrades are charged. Or if you select to Promote your items.
This will show you a breakdown of your transactions, and if you paid any listing fees or ad fee ( Promoted items) these are deducted from your payout.

To withdraw your payouts, you need to do this manually.
As long as there is no initial hold on your payout, that is, if you are a new or returning seller, proceed this way below.
Strangely some members have found this works on some devices and not on others, so worth trying on apps / PC and laptops use Chrome, until you find the combination that works for you.
Click on Payments >> Summary then any payout available for immediate withdrawal, is available for you, in a big blue banner.
Click on the > arrow, top right you may need to log in again, or even verify your account by receiving a text or email code.
Your eBay balance will show at the top, click on withdraw bottom right.
On the pop up screen which appears, at the top, there's a large, bolder £ sign, and flashing sign beside it. There, you add the amount you wish to withdraw. At the bottom.... Withdraw £*** Now click on this.
A notification appears... Your Money is on its Way. Click on this and then on Done.
Money is then sent to your nominated bank account and it will depend on your banks processing times, as to when you are able to withdraw the money. Some banks are faster than others.
Have you registered for eBay's Managed Payments? You need to do the following to be able to receive payouts from sales.
You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified. The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive, and confirm to eBay.
Once this is completed, you will be able to list items for sale, and receive payouts from those sales.
This will show you how to register for eBay's Managed Payments.

You're most welcome, if there's any issue registering for Managed Payments contact eBay Customer Services for assistance, usually it's very straight forward to await those micro deposits to arrive in your nominated bank account, you report these back to eBay and you're all set to list items for sale, and receive payouts from those sales.
If you need to, this is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open, as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Thank you again Tressygirl. I'm dreading all what's to come. I'm 'senior' and thought I understood the bits I read, but now reading all these threads on here, clearly not! I need to set some time aside and try and absorb. It used to be so easy. I've read some awful replies (justified or not, I've no idea).
I have thought of taking to auction houses, but I've done that in the past and each time found that they give you good valuations .... I can't trust them again.
It's really kind of you to help me so much, I really appreciate it.
