Feedback accessing information

Hello knowledgeable ones. I recently noticed I can look at my purchasing feedback and by pressing on it gain all information of my transaction.Thats great but I tried it on other people’s and I could check theirs out too.My question is can buyers look at my profile and feedback and see in further detail by pressing on a purchase feedback of mine .Essentially can they see what I am paying for things that I might be selling.Looking forward to words of wisdom, thanks for reading.

No problem, I'm pleased to help 😃

The info you can see on your own feedback page is different if you are logged into your account to when you are logged out.

If you log out and visit your page, that will be the most that anyone else can see, buyer or seller.

When you are logged in, you'll see more but no-one but you can see the additional information.

I forgot to mention before about the filters -they only show the last 90 days info. If there are lots of people selling the same item , it doesn't really make any difference, but if you have something unusual and distinctive which you bought as a bargain, then  bidders on an auction might look back to see what a similar Sold item might be 'worth' and see your original purchase if it is less than 90 days old, even if you used a different account .They wouldn't know it was you, but they might not bid as much for the item.

Yes.

By looking at your 'feedback left for others' I can see that you recently bought a Zippo Ace of Spades lighter for £11.

I just clicked on the seller you left feedback for and looked for your comments to identify the item you bought.

The way to avoid this is to not leave feedback for sellers.

Yes when you are a Buyer, some items are 'private' so others cannot see what it is, but most are public. People can look at your feedback received as a Buyer.

eBay is fine about you having more than one account, so there are a lot of advantages to having one account just to buy stuff with and different ones to sell through 😃

Also, if you wait at least 90 days after the purchase before you list, then the  item you have bought doesn't show in the searchable Sold history for that item. Then 99.9% of people won't know or be able to find out how much you paid for the item that you are selling, so you can hopefully make a nice little profit 😉

You put details of the item you are looking for in the main ebay search bar.

Then, when all the results come up, you can filter them to just show you Sold items.

If you are using the App: under the search bar will come up a button saying 'Filter'. Click on this then go down to 'Show more'. Click on that and go all the way to 'Sold items' and toggle that on.

If you are using the desktop version the filter is near the bottom of the menu items on the left-hand side of the page.

The Sold items will show a green price, so you can see what was paid.

There is also a similar filter for Completed Items.

This will show items that have sold with their prices in green, and items which did not sell with their prices in black. This can be very a useful guide to setting a price for your own items in relation to other similar items

It doesn’t show your name but I want to thank you I didn’t know about this
and you are right useful in more ways than one.The reason I initially posed
the question was because of my poor knowledge of tec. after what must be 4
years of using ebay I think I was looking at feedback to me as a buyer and
pressed one with a line under it and all the information came up of my
purchase. Can anyone do that when looking at my feedback or even can a
seller selling to me look at my feedback and do this?
