Nope, contact details still cannot be exchanged before a purchase is made. No announcement has been made to confirm any change there.
Buyer still needs to buy, pay through eBay checkout as no cash on collection is allowed. Then, come and view.
If they change their mind after viewing, you cancel the sale selecting Buyer requests to cancel, and your seller performance is not affected.

We don't know to what extent ebay has changed the other systems and processes when it introduced free selling for private accounts.
I suppose you could try and see if you can exchange details, but be aware that you mght get a telling off from ebay.

adding to the advice already given -
Unfortunately you are selling used bikes as new and that will cause problems.

what do you mean ? what problems ?

You've listed your bikes as new condition.
Then in your listing description it's clear that they are not new, but used (which is the condition you should've selected).
For example:

To me is perfectly clear what is condition of the bike , and still for me this is a new bike , that's why i mark this as new. I sold many bikes and always honest with condition of my items.
but thx for your opininon.

Are you kidding? A bike that has been ridden for around 100 miles is new?
I think that you need to check eBay's definition of 'new'.

yes , that's only one ride to test it out. I build that bike , and is good to make sure everything working fine before is go for sale.
i could lie and say never been used on the road ( like a loot people do ) , and you wouldn't even know. So appreciate im a honest seller , and stop judging me by Nickname.

Oooh.... you shouldn't have mentioned that you built the bike.

If you are building bikes to sell then you are a business, and should be registered as such. By continuing to trade as a private seller when you are clearly operating as a business seller you are breaking the law. eBay may be willing to turn a blind eye to the matter, but once HMRC catch up with you then you are going to have a very difficult time trying to persuade them to believe that you did not know that you were trading illegally!
Before you do anything else, get yourself properly registered as a business seller on eBay. Once you have done that if you list your bikes using Classified listings you can put your business seller information on each listing, as well as your contact details, and you can keep the listings live until somebody buys one or more of the bikes listed. However, when you list the bikes for sale, make sure that you list them as Used, as they are clearly not brand new if they have previously been used, whether you covered as little as one mile on the bike or more than one thousand miles. You should only advertise them as Brand New if you can truthfully say "This bike is brand new and has never been ridden since the day it was built."

I don't understand how my topic get to this direction 🙂 very soon im gonna be blamed for some tax frod 🙂
I build did for myself , don't have any bikes production 🙂 all items i sell i bought with my own money , and reason for selling is simple don't use them anymore or get bored:)
But thank you for all this information 🙂 didn't know HMRC is looking what people sell on eBay 🙂
i will change that , for used if you think is the right thing to do.

I understand what you mean by new and your explanation - the problem is that the word new in selling terms means something different and some buyers do not read descriptions - they see a pretty picture and the word new and pay via ebay - collect the bike then for whatever reason decide to open a return stating that you misdescribed the bike as 'new' when it was second hand and you end up paying for it to be returned to you !
The more accurate you can be - the more of these opportunities you eliminate.
This was all the members were trying to help you with - they were not having a go
