eBay would have given the buyer a six digit collection code and a QR code when they purchased. When the buyer collected you should have asked for the collection code or opened the eBay app and scanned the QR code to confirm collection.
You can ask the buyer for the six digit collection code and enter it in the "Confirm collection" link in the sales record. I do not hand collection items over until the buyer has provided the code and it has been successfully entered into the sales record - without it you have no evidence the buyer collected should they open an "item not received" claim regardless of any feedback that was left.
Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
