Ebay are like headless chickens now

After the introduction of Buyer Prevention fees,  I guess lots of sellers altered their prices to compensate, they've done it again and cocked up the system for everyone. We don't have the time or inclination to alter them again. I looked at listing an item for £150 and I save 4p - can you believe it - 4p !

A little while back, eBay's aim was to concentrate on luxury items and attract high worth individuals - well I don't know who came up with that idea as this site has now been trashed beyond recognition, just mention eBay to anyone now and it's like a swear word.

This latest monumental lash up moves greater savings to the lower priced items so it's moving back to being an online car boot sale again which it was when it started.

The real problem if eBay people care to look at the forums, is simple delivery - too many restrictions, no combined postage, choosing Evri as a courier etc.

Simple delivery is a buyer buys an item, seller receives payment, posts item. What could be simpler.

Combined postage - just refund the difference.

I'll just let what I've got listed run for a while and then I'll call it a day, can't fight the system any more, too stressful.

Yes. Sorry if it sounds ungrateful, but for items where the new, lower BPF only results in a saving of 3p/4p, I'd rather they'd left things alone.

Having eBay tinkering with item prices every time they choose to alter the BPF, is yet another reason why Final Value Fees were so much better. I can't face altering listings again, so will be stuck with the off-putting, daft-looking prices. I wonder how many watchers will rush to snap up items, when they spot the threepenny reductions...? 😂

So, not only have we been stopped from setting our own postage, now we no longer have total control over our item prices. Cheers, eBay... 🥂
