Early Payout?

This morning, Friday 18 July, a payout was made to my bank account. I also received a payout on Tuesday this week. 

Has eBay changed the payout dates? Have I missed an announcement?

Yes,  there has been an announcement re early payouts from sales.

Go to eBay News tab top left of this forum page,   from there to Announcements,  eBay are sending payouts 24 hours from when the buyer pays.  However,  it does say this is to start from August 6th.

I suppose it has started early for some lucky peeps ! 🤗

Same here (business account), surely ebay hasn't got confused over the announcement for 24 hour holds for private sellers?

Same here and I can't see the announcement. They haven't made it easy to spot. A message would have been nice.

I beleive this is for public selbelievelers as Business Sellers could always get their money daily already.

From the payment email you received, there is a link to "Learn more about payout timing". Click on it and sign in to your account. From there, scroll down a little to update your payment preferences.

just checked mine is set to weekly still so no idea why theyhave sent payment today

Yep, same for me. I will just go with the flow until they start extracting from my account 😆

just had anothwer look you have 4 settings daily weekly fortnitely or monthly. I am currently set to weekly however this option is greyed out on save so i can only select daily fortnitely or monthly. Sneaky eh so now either have evey day or fortnitely or monthly as options.

So much for progress as i prefer weekly and cannot work around daily as is too much of a headache trying to keep tabs on cashflow.

My payments are set to weekly and I still received one this morning. A glitch I reckon.

Just wanted to confirm that this is a technical issue from our end, and it is currently affecting business accounts only. However, it is being worked and it is being prioritized as well. Once this is resolved, I will update you here.

Hi all,

Quick update to say that this is resolved now. We've been confirmed that this was done in order to keep future payouts in sync/up to date and fully correct an issue related to payouts as well from earlier this week. Going forward you should receive your payouts as expected as per your current set up.
