Last night I sent an offer to someone and it was accepted. Have been trying to pay for it this morning, for hours….and weird message comes back to sign into my social or email???
I can see the top broken eBay colourful dashes going across my screen, as if payment is happening, as it normally would, but just keeps coming up with the same message …..I have never connected my social accounts, and don’t want to.
Is this an eBay issue at the moment, can’t see anywhere that says they are having problems this morning, so apologies if I’ve missed something, but it’s driving me mad.

Which device and browser are you using? Sometimes these temp technical issues can be solved by just switching if you are using the app or mobile browser, to a PC / laptop and use Chrome. Try from there.
If it still doesn't work send the seller a message you are having issues paying, I'm presuming you have no previous non payment strikes this would prevent a payment going through, and will contact CS if not resolved.
If the above by switching devices and browser doesn't work contact eBay Customer Services they have full access to accounts, and can hopefully see and solve the issue for you.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Thank you Tressygirl. I was using the app on my iPad. Switched to laptop and it worked! Many thanks
