EBAY stop trying to reinvent the wheel

EBAY stop trying to reinvent the wheel!

Whom else wishes they never changed on the 4th of February, it is now dead.

10222 impressions, 244 views in a month and zero sales conversion, for me that is insane… now that is very strange, must be eBay bots and their new stuff they introduced.

Many established long time sellers are leaving this sales platform.
Go back EBAY to the way it was before 4th Feb 2025 before they all leave for good.

Good luck, everyone, it may be time to find a different place to sell….

The wheel was easier to understand,  why it was invented.

Re: EBAY stop trying to reinvent the wheel

Unfortunately, the current situation is of Greedbays own doing. Private sellers cottoned on to the 80% off selling fees every 2 weeks and hammered it, thereby creating upset/anger with the business sellers. Then, the totally free for private sellers arrived, at which point many business sellers created a secondary private account. The only way to recover from the whole mess in my opinion would be to revert back to charging private sellers selling fees (which nobody minded paying), maybe cap the amount of listings per month and obviously scrap the BPF/SD which is vastly unpopular.

Re: EBAY stop trying to reinvent the wheel

i rather think that you may be wrong about 'nobody minded paying' the seller fees, there were always people on here moaning about them!   Now they really have something to moan about with the 75p standard fee + % for the buyers.   Same when they stopped some people getting the 70/80% off fees, there was nothing but moans which i would have  sympathised with but a lot of them usually went on to mention they only listed on those week ends.

Ok, ‘not everyone minded paying the fees’, but for those selling prior to these offers appearing, ‘accepted that there was a fee to be paid’.

Totally agree with your recovery points, plus reinstating combined invoices.

Re: EBAY stop trying to reinvent the wheel

I can’t understand it. Have looked on some of my listings loads of likes. But no one buying had a good day mid week and then went quiet again today. No people buying.

Ebay probably tweaking again.
