Am I penalised if I do not respond to a question about an item I am selling. I'd rather ignore the message but if I am penalised for not replying I will have to reply. p.s. I'm selling some slips and bra top.

You can just ignore it without penalty. If it's from a pervy man use the report link at the top of the message via the actions tab.

No you won't be penalised.
Just ignore,delete and block.

Not only can you ignore it without penalty, you can block them from messaging you and block them from buying from you.

Good Morning Susie
Sound advice from earlier respondents. Susie I have taken a look at the listing and half of your pictures are very blurry. My advice is to take some more/replacements.

Susie
My earlier advice re taking new pictures extends to that black jacket that you are selling. Two of your pictures are blurry to say the least. You may have a faulty camera.
Hope that this helps.

Ignore him - mummy must have turned off his adult material viewing & he is seeking other targets.

Follow the excellent advice given by other members, report and block if you have any thought that the message is anything but buying related - if only to protect more vulnerable members trying to sell on ebay

Camera might be ok, but shake when taking pic can blur it. Or cropping it a lot.

Good Evening John
On reflection I think that the camera/phone is being held too close to the objects in certain pictures.

Ah, yes that could explain it. I didn't look at the OP's pictures, couldn't risk looking at cheeky pictures! 🙂
Using the ebay app to add my pictures, it doesn't offer me a close-up feature, even though my phone supports it. So for photos only a few inches away I have to take those in the camera app, then in the ebay app use the 'upload' option to include them. Bit of a faff, and a year or two ago I did mention to support that this would be a nice enhancement to the app for those phones with macro (which most have these days). Obviously ebay are too busy breaking things that work, no time available for adding useful features.
Maybe @susie150214 can do close-up that way.

Hi John
I only look at naughty/cheeky pictures purely for research and educational purposes.
