hi .a buyer has asked to return a vinyl record three weeks after it was delivered because he "changed my mind".
i don't accept returns.
so i want to refuse the request, which seems unfair.
but is there a risk he will give me a negative review? At the moment my reviews are 100% positive and I don't want to lose this rating.
thanks in advance for any advice.

As a private seller, you have every right to refuse the return as it was stated on your listing 'no returns'.
It's best to wait and see if they leave any feedback at all and what they say. If you think it is unfair, you can appeal it.

Chances are he bought it as a Christmas present for someone who already had it, or didn't want it.
Although you won't be compelled to allow the return, it could be better just to accept it, take the hit, and move on. You'll lose the amount of the original postage, but you will reduce the likelihood of receiving negative feedback.
If he's used the "changed my mind" option on the return request, he will need to pay for return postage. Then you check the record when it arrives back, and if it's in the same condition as when you sent it, just okay the refund.
And don't forget to add the buyer to your blocked buyers list. You don't want him coming back and trying it again.
