DROP IN SALES SINCE NEW BUYER PROTECTION 4TH FEB 2025

Has anyone else noticed lack of sales since the buyer protection update 4th february 2025. I used to sell quite a lot and virtually sold nothing since 4th Feb. Can anyone else relate to this and what can we do?

well i understood it!   Why do people always seem to assume that comments are aimed at them when clearly the headings say 'in response to'?    Seems to happen quite frequently on here at the moment.  (or is that a complaint???)

The email notifications make it seem like any response is a response to your message.

they don’t make clear it’s specifically a response to a specific post.

Hence one particular poster assuming they had received 'hundreds of messages of support ', although the 'hundreds' was an exaggeration given that there were about 15 replies in total, and only about 3 directly to them!

Your buyers should not be charged the buyer protection fee. It only applies where sellers are selling off their unwanted personal possessions.

No private seller, just odds and bits but was getting a bit of profit, now sales have dropped massively, plus the postage rates are not helping.

That's correct but I have to pay for every listing and I get charged for
every 30 days a listing is on ebay

Just because other people are trading on private accounts doesn't make it acceptable to take the p from proper fee-paying business sellers.
