Combined postage on auctioned items.

I have sold as a private seller my collection of Star Wars x wing game and a lot of them have one a 5 or 6 buyers and so I need to combine postage and send an invoice which we know we can't.

I spoke to an assistant on the phone who told me it now can only be done if you apply for a shop and pay a subscription fee of £19.99 a month. Please tell me this isn't the only way!

You could cancel with buyer's agreement and relist with all the items on one listing with one postage for the buyer to buy again.

An alternative would be to send them together anyway.   Open the unused labels to mark the items as dispatched then see if you can add the tracking number to the extra items at View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow.   That has to be done on a desktop browser.

If the buyer paid for the unused labels the cost will be automatically refunded to them in 30 days.

Why have they made it so hard when there was a perfectly good system in place, it can't be just to make the £20 a month from sellers, or is it?

Having to ask the customer to cancel the deal to pay again and wait for a refund is not good but paying for all the extra postal costs and then it takes a month to be reimbursed is terrible.

I am glad this is a one off batch of sales, what has happened to the trusty old Ebay?
