We offer Click and Collect on our listings and also have a multi-buy discount set up. We do this mainly because we don't have a postage charge so the discount reduces the cost to the buyer to reflect our cheaper shipping costs.
With Click and Collect, every item ordered is being separated into its own shipment with its own unique ECP even when the order had the discount applied to it. Meaning that we'd be spending full postage prices per item to have sold the items at a discounted rate.
My question is; is there a way to avoid this problem?
As a temporary solution, I'm combining the orders and putting all ECP codes on the front of the parcel, but that risks the click and collect location only entering one of them and the other shipments looking like they weren't sent. Even if that doesn't happen, it might cause confusion with the shopkeeper or the buyer when it comes to providing the codes for the parcel. I also imagine it would mean all of the collection codes (7 in this case) would have to be supplied by the buyer for the shipments to show to Ebay as collected. It feels like causing more problems to solve a problem we shouldn't have.
