I recently sold an item and Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?
The so called 'NEW ' process says there is a 'Withdraw' option in the sellers hub which we can opt for at any time to transmit funds to our bank accounts. . If there is, it is well hidden. i have spent over 2 hours trying every screen I can find and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WITHDRAW OPTION. This suggests to me that Ebay are deliberately witholding funds. Why ?

I have the same issue! I've changed browser and it still tells me to use funds for purchases. I've searched all over nothing to say how to withdraw. This is ridiculous for an established company. I've emaied them twice and now the are not responding. It was working well why did they change it? Listening to AI by th looks of it, not happy with the lack of professionalism

Have you read, and tried, the suggested solutions on the threads about this issue?

it's very frustrating and very maddining!! It's OUR money from items WE have sold, they are acting like it's theirs!! My funds are still locked and I'm still unable to withdraw them, why??? Just WHY??? Makes me want to scream!!! Customer service is useless!!!

All of them to no avail sadly, I'm going to have a full day on this today, I'm going to google myself to death and try everything I can possibly can!! I will update later......not what I wanted to do in my spare time but I want MY money!! I feel like I'm being scammed by Ebay!

Let's hope we can get to the bottom of this, and help you.
Let's start from the beginning.
When you click on Payments >> Summary and the big blue banner appears, what is the amount there which says Available funds ?

Doesn't work-nothing works-ooking like corporate fraud

It does work, it's not corporate fraud ! It's just navigating around the several screens is, for the first time anyway not easy and not clear as to how to proceed.
Follow my guidelines below, but this s for a laptop and I use Chrome, sorry but I do not use the app wwhere it may have slightly different directions to follow.
At the top of your eBay homepage, click on Payments >> Summary then any payout available for immediate withdrawal, is available for you, in a big blue banner.
Click on that Withdraw > arrow, you may need to log in again, or even verify your account by receiving a text or email code.
On the pop up screen which appears, click on Withdraw found at the bottom of that screen. You will see £0.00 at the bottom, at the top a larger £0. There, on that larger £0, manually enter the amount you wish to withdraw. Bottom right click on > Send £** now.
Money is then transferred to your bank.

Nothing works nothing works, they are not replying to emails now-somethings badly wrong. They have my money and they are not giving it to me. To me its fraud-looks like a matter for trading standards

"Do come back and tell us what Trading Standards says, too." - I would be certainly interested in that too.

So far had no luck using the browser (chrome) on either iOS or Android, can only see withdraw on the app, this is very inconvenient for people who do not want to use the app. I can't help think ebay web devs are either very inexperienced or intentionally making the web access obtuse and not user friendly. I have been using ebay for 25 years and the web experience has got steadily worse in the last 10 years, there is far too much wasted space and scrolling of tables, lots of options have either been removed, moved or hidden, the constant need to sign in for the umpteenth time to do anything account related - when you are already signed in, already on a trusted device, with 2 step verification already passed - ridiculous.
Clearing browser cache does not make the withdraw option appear, come on ebay this really isn't good enough!

@nineteen70four Please scroll up to my message # 69.
I have never used the app either, so those guidelines are for a laptop, and I do use Chrome.
As long as your payout is not in ' Processing' mode, and there are no other holds , follow my instructions and if there are Available funds, you can withdraw them.

I can't even get to this stage:
On the pop up screen which appears, click on Withdraw found at the bottom of that screen. You will see £0.00 at the bottom, at the top a larger £0. There, on that larger £0, manually enter the amount you wish to withdraw. Bottom right click on > Send £** now.
I can't get passed the Click on that Withdraw > arrow, you may need to log in again, or even verify your account by receiving a text or email code part!!!

Being members like yourself, we have very limited access to your account , well none other than seeing your feedback profile page.
From there, I see you have returned to selling after a long break, and there's been some Big changes on eBay.
Have you fully and correctly registered for eBay's Managed Payments?
You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified. The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive, and confirm to eBay.
Once this is completed, you will be able to list items for sale, and receive payouts from those sales.
This will show you how to register for eBay's Managed Payments.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/
Once this is completed the first few sales payouts may be placed on a 21 day hold until you can show tracking to show delivery. For returning sellers this is security measure as sudden selling activity can be because the account is hacked. eBay need proof the real seller has returned.
Could this be why you cannot withdraw money now? It's on a security hold, or Managed Payments hasn't been completed? These could be the reasons.

Ingree. I've been on EBay 19 years and actually this current problem is turning me right off. I don't want the app and find their inability to help really infuriating. I am at an age where I just don't need anxiety or problems as the internet is frustrating enough without EBay making it more so!
