I recently sold an item and Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?
The so called 'NEW ' process says there is a 'Withdraw' option in the sellers hub which we can opt for at any time to transmit funds to our bank accounts. . If there is, it is well hidden. i have spent over 2 hours trying every screen I can find and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WITHDRAW OPTION. This suggests to me that Ebay are deliberately witholding funds. Why ?

I agree, it worked perfectly well before. I shall stop selling if I don't get funds quickly. I cannot wait until January!

Hi all, Thank you to those who gave advice. Today I also was finding it
difficult to find any withdraw tab. After looking at the thread and
perservering I found that by clicking on the payments tab (a part blue screen compartment)
and then clicking on the arrow in the top right hand corner this brought up
a smaller window with the option to withdraw funds which I did today.
Kind regards. Keep safe,
David.

Hi dottyb_22, Try your phone if you want the ebay app.
Or have you tried a desktop if you have one or tablet ?
Please see my post of this evening.
Kind regards. Keep safe,
David, the barnabas factor.

Hi jfp0001, Please see the recent posts on this.
I also found the withdraw option hard to find but
found it after some perserverence.
Try the advice on the thread and look for the payments
tab which has the blue screen compartment. Then click
on the arrow in the top right hand corner of the blue box
and this, for me, brought up a smaller window with the
a tab to withdraw.
Kind regards. Keep safe,
David.

On your My Ebay screen go into 'Account' (you may need to enter your password again).
Under PAYMENTS a blue box appears showing eBay Balance. Click on the arrow (top right of blue box).
A new pop-up appears, at the bottom right is a blue 'Withdraw' button.
Click on that and withdraw the amount you want.

The issue is that not everyone can get beyond the blue box - the arrow is not responding.
23-10-2024 9:14 PM
I presume that would only happen if there are no funds available
Marco@ebay can you throw any light on this issue?
23-10-2024 9:23 PM
Not at all. There's clearly a technical issue which is preventing some users from clicking beyond the blue box. It is perfectly clear how it should work - it just isn't responding for some people.

No it isn't responding and THAT IS THE PROBLEM
I have funds to withdraw but when I click withdraw nothing happens. The final stage is not active.

When you get to the final pop up screen after clicking on the several > Withdraw arrows, you will see £0.00 at the bottom, perhaps the withdraw is greyed out.
Scroll to the very top of that page , you will see £0 in a larger , bolder print. There add the amount you wish to withdraw. When it shows, scroll down to the bottom, then the Withdraw > will show , click on that, money is then sent to your bank.

Go to "your funds" there will be an option to withdraw.
You have to physically type in how much you wish to withdraw. Ie: £62.97 you can then say I want to withdraw just £60.00/the lot or less. Press enter. Then a page pops up where to send the money, you have to confirm the location.
It will show, £60.00 (whichever you chose) has been sent to your bank.
good luck.

I am having the same issue. How can you even phone Ebay customer service? All you get is useless dumb chat bot. I think Ebay are deliberately making it difficult and withholding cleared funds. This is illegal!

There is a completely different method for withdrawing funds now, try this:
Click on Payments >> Summary then any payout available for immediate withdrawal, is available for you, in a big blue banner.
Click on that Withdraw > arrow, you may need to log in again, or even verify your account by receiving a text or email code.
On the pop up screen which appears, click on Withdraw found at the bottom of that screen. You will see £0.00 at the bottom, at the top a larger £0. There, manually enter the amount you wish to withdraw. Bottom right click on > Withdraw.
I am using a laptop and Chrome to receive these views.
Money is then sent to your bank, and it depends on your banks processing times, as to when it is then available for you, most banks can process the payout quickly.

I feel exactly the same way!, this new set up makes me want to not sell on ebay or even buy from it at all anymore.. the funds from sales used to go directly into my bank account automatically - and It would be super easy to checkout and buy items!
Dear Ebay, you are not a bank! - I have been waiting days to access my funds which say they are available and yet will not let me withdraw!... tried on my phone, different browsers, removed and redownloaded the app, rebooted my phone.. so fed up!

There is really no point telling us how it is supposed to work. We can see how it is supposed to work - but it is not responding for some users. There is clearly a technical glitch which Ebay needs to address.
