Can't get my head round withholding postage.

I've started a new account and cant work out why ebay are withholding postage costs from ME,when the buyer is paying.The items are being recieved by the buyer,funds are released after a couple of days but not the postage costs.Example to be clear-Buyer pays £3.50 postage,I use the ebay tool to get label at post office and duly send parcel.The £3.50 is then withheld from ME.What is that all about.

Just a thought,are you using the postage label that Ebay provides or are you buying for the postage yourself at P.O. etc ?.

The OP is purchasing the label via eBay and scanning the QR code provided at the PO counter.

The screenshots you have posted show eBay appears to be working things out correctly.

When you say "When the funds become cleared" do you mean you are seeing it on your bank statement?

Is that second postage deduction not just the next lot of postage you bought for another sale?  The payment does not relate to one distinct sale, it's the amount available at that time.

That's why you need to look at the payment breakdown.
