Can anyone advise how I can gain access to my account activity from 2017-2023 from eBay forHMRC

I have tried to contact eBay without success to get history of selling and fees from 2017-2023 as requested by HMRC this is turning into a nightmare it’s frustrating that I can’t find help from ebay

Yes they sent letter asking for information of invoices and sales

I'm probably not going to be much help as I am on a tablet right now. You probably need a desktop. But it is possible to download a report of all transactions. If i recall correctly, i think from "payments" ," reports" .  Let me know if you don't find it and later i will be able to look on the desktop.

I will try on my laptop but as I understand only past 2 years information is available but I need from 2017-2023 as requested by HMRC

You can access sales info going back to Jan 2020.

Go to Seller Hub, then, under the Payments tab select Reports:

You'll then end up here and can select the transaction type (Orders if you want to view sales), and you'll need to tab back to Jan 2020 in the start date menu:

Probably no good to you, but did you use Paypal in the earlier years? I don't use it anymore but vaguely remember they had quite a lot of reporting facilities.

I know of a few "private sellers" who have received HMRC letters, this will be a common question on these pages.

Is this (PDF file) the same letter you have received?

No, that was a private account I copied those images from, private and business sellers can run reports. 

Can you screenshot what you can see when you click on the Payments tab?

Thanks for replying, I just realised I probably wasn't using the seller hub but was in my seller account/dashboard.

I did a search for seller hub in google and found the link to it, never been there before, so I can run the reports now.
