Why can’t I list an item (vintage postcard) under custom postage so I can arrange own first class letter posting with local post office ? It is letter size and well under 100g.
I get a pop up saying I need to select delivery service !!
Any help / reply would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you not getting the "Switch to Advanced options" link? You get a Simple Delivery pop-up after clicking on that but another link to switch to advanced options is on the pop-up. Then you get the Custom Postage tab.

If you mean you enter the postage details and then they disappear and you have to input them again and they disappear again
there’s a thread called postage …someone else was getting this too
i reckon it’s because eBay have changed their system from yesterday …something about changing how letters and large letters are shown ..don’t ask me what they mean but anyway
they forgot to switch the oven on
if you change it to padded envelope it retains the postage
it will come up with 1.55 or something but
you can then alter the postage price to envelope rates (under where it says seller pays or buyer pays)
I believe that should be ok under the rules

It doesn’t like letter post does it ?
tried to submit a listing and I got the same red error messages
one was to amend their recommended buy it now price to at least 99p
the other is the delivery option
The only way I could get it to list (as live listing) was to chose, padded envelope and then edit the postage from £1.55 to 87p
also when you start a listing just type “postcard “ , hit the search button and chose “continue without match”…(you don’t want to end up with a copy of someone else’s postage or get a simple delivery page default )
it should default to custom postage with Royal Mail letter options
