FYI we are leaving, and are making a bunch of private buyers disgruntled. They'll get nothing sent out from us and can leave whatever neg feedback they want, we're done with ebay, their greed and the assumption that we will roll over and take it without lube.

The more angry my (ex) customers, the better, burning all bridges and ensuring private byers have a terrible experience.

This is what you get for putting profit before user loyalty, and so eBay will get nothing and like it.

I shall wait to see how it all pans out in Feb/March then I will decide. At the moment it looks like I will no longer be selling as the buyers fee is really yet another sellers fee and I support my local Post Office by posting my parcels from there, and if I no longer sell I will also not purchase another item from ebay either.

Good, read the feedback responses I have left. I'm not sending out anything I've not been paid for, and I am not honouring any transactions which have not been sent out. This is what winding down an account looks like.

Sorry, I don't know what you mean. I just cannot see any reason for your decision so was interested to understand what has upset you. With an explanation, you might even get good advice from other members on the forum. No worries if you don't want to share - that's entirely your prerogative.

Do you realise that, as a correctly registered business seller, neither you, nor your buyers are subject to any of the recently announced changes for private sales?

Hope those birds are aware that they'll lose their eBay accounts and won't be able to have another. Not terribly kind unless they are aware and in agreement.

Are people here being purposely dense? It has been made clear that the OP's posted concerns are not relevant and do not apply.

This thread is a non-issue and is being blown out of all proportion due to a failure to understand the recent announcement.
