I am having real issues with my buyers using Klarna as a payment option. Their ebay name and klarna usernames often differ and I have three orders sitting here that say the ebay account was created today and have zero feedback. I have reached out to the buyers but im not sure the messages are getting through to them as it could be their Klarna username. This is really frustrating how do I know if the buyer has indeed used Klarna guest checkout or if its someone trying to scam some Lego? I dont want to offend my buyers but I have been stung in the past by fraudulent buyers. Also can Klarna be switched off as a payment option?

We take Klarna on our website, there is no usernames it is always the customer name, all we get is the payment method and that's it, Klarna then pay us after 7 days.
Not Ideal having a 7 day payment hold but buyers love to use Klarna as it helps them spread the cost on small purchases.

I have never used Klarna and know nothing about it but as all payments are made to ebay how do you know how they have paid? Where are the names showing as being different? You should only post to the name and address given to you by ebay once ebay have confirmed payment has been made.

You send to the address on the order with tracked shipping, It sounds like these buyers have used guest checkout, a seller will never know how a buyer has paid.
You say they have used Klarna then also say how do I know they have used Klarna.
No, you can't turn Klarna off.
There is no need really worry what a buyers username is, it's irrelevant, you ship to the address on the order details page.

I had the a similar issue yesterday but the buyer contacted me so I knew they had used Klarna. They realised the username was different from their ebay username and explained they had used Klarna.

Always post to the address given the name or username doesn't really matter, it is the address that protects you from any issues so always use tracked when possible.
I have noticed quite a few this week where people have changed the delivery name, whether this is people using their parents account or buying as a gift for someone I don't know but we never get any issues.

I use a debit card with Klarna to make purchases and its not a scam.
I don’t know what it looks like at the seller end but as a buyer its similar to Paypal in that I can use it with my debit card and it offers me a pay-in full option with some purchase protection benefits or interest free ‘pay in three’ with same. It seems well managed and they have good customer service.
If eBay are offering it as a payment option I don’t think you should be seeing the buyer’s Klarna username or anything, surely you’re just seeing that the buyer has paid, the address to send to on the order and you’ll get the full amount into your eBay wallet as normal? Please do correct me if that’s not the case.
