Buyer not yet picked up parcel from Evri

Parcel ready for collection since the 18th Feb. Buyer contacted me to ask for a QR code to collect the parcel. saying "Ebay hasn't emailed me a QR code for collection -- I only have the Evri email, which will be difficult for the shop."

I said photo screen the Webpage Evri proof  Tracking Number for collection and it clearly states "please bring in Photo ID to collect"

And still it hasn't been collected. I have message to ask if they were having a problem with collection, to see if they was anyway they needed more help. Only got a message to say "don't worry they will pick it up on Saturday" Checked today and it still showing ready to be collected.

How long do I need to wait before it returned to me??? I did have other buyers interested in the purchase, but this buyer won the bid.

thanking you for your help

The buyer needs to look through  their eBay messages and spam too, and the order details for that code , as the shop will not release it to them without it.

They only have 7 days to pick up the item from the store from being notified it's in store.

After the period lapses it's up to the store to do with the item as they wish.  They can return it to you, but equally and less hassle  for them,  they can destroy it , or give it to charity.

If you have tracking to show the item reached that Click &Collect point,  you will not have to refund the buyer.  Though if the item is returned to you, as you then have both the item and the buyer's money, personally I think it's morally right to then refund your buyer.

As you said,  you could then  relist the item for sale.

Are you sure about this tressy?

I have a memory of a thread a couple/few weeks ago where dave or marco @ebay got involved, and got back with the message that it was considered deliverd once it had got to the buyer , not the C+C shop...?

(mind you, my memory of all these humongous threads is probably getting a bit blurred!)

Was this a Click & Collect order; i.e. was there an "eCP" code on the address label?

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

Buyer not yet picked up parcel from Evri

All I gained was information from the evri website on the tracking that the package is ready to be collected and I sent a screenshot to buyer.
when should I contact eBay? As I don’t want to lose money due to buyer not picking it up.

If you look at the delivery address in the "order details" page does it have a code starting "eCP" on one line? If it does that code needed to be included on the address label. If you purchased the shipping via eBay the eCP code would have been included on the label; if you purchased the shipping via Evri's website you would have needed to have entered/copy & pasted the code yourself.

My gut feeling is this is not a Click & Collect order so no eCP code will be shown. It sounds like the buyer was somehow able to select an Evri "ParcelShop" as a delivery option but you will need to check what the delivery address in the "order details" page shows.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
