Are Promoted Listings always identified as such?

I know there are Sponsored listings which are identified, but do some listings appear “incognito", ie as a result of a paid promotion but which isn’t identified as such?  So it may look like an organic result in searches, but it’s actually been paid for, although you wouldn’t know.

Re: Are Promoted Listings always identified as such?

Thanks for confirming.  Sometimes the search results are so bizarre that it made me wonder if some of the  results have been paid for, even if it didn't say Sponsored.

Re: Are Promoted Listings always identified as such?

I think my answer was correct for all General promoted listings. However I've been watching out for what you describe: bizarre search results with no 'Sponsored' tag.

eBay Priority Strategy promotions now have top search slot reserved for them, which is why sometimes the top item in a 'cheapest first' search seems bizarre. I keep seeing these without a 'Sponsored' tag added. Don't know if this is a glitch with PS promotions, or if it is by design.
