Any Way Around "Simple" Postage?

I absolutely hate "Simple" Postage being forced on me, is there any way around it? For a while I could switch to "Advanced" Postage but that option seems to have disappeared. Then I could copy and paste old listings with legacy postage options and keep them, but that's stopped working now as well.

I had a good postage system in place, now "Simple" postage means I have to pay a chunk extra to use Evri (which I don't want to do) and drop off my items in a less convenient shop, and use a new messy weight system.

The old system was fine, so easy to use and I liked Yodel much more than Evri.

Indeed there is.

Change to a Business Seller account.

Re: Any Way Around "Simple" Postage?

Thanks, I'll look into that.

Are there any obvious downsides compared to private seller?

Re: Any Way Around "Simple" Postage?

Upsides and downsides are irrelevant.  If you are buying to resell then it is a legal requirement.

Re: Any Way Around "Simple" Postage?

On the basis of the fact you appear to be selling goods you've bought for the express intent of selling them (I am more than willing to be corrected there) you SHOULD be on a Business Seller account as per the ebay business seller policy.

The fee structure is as it was previously for all sellers on ebay. You basically pay a Final Value fee when the item sells.

You will also pay a listing fee, but can subscribe to a shop to get a certain amount of listings free each month - whether that is worth doing is based on how many listings you have. You already look to have a shop subscription anyway.
