Accepting buyer offers

I sent an offer and received a counter offer from the buyer, which i accepted however nothing has happened, the listing is still active and I’m going round in circles trying to figure it out. I attempted to message the buyer with the item number but wasn’t able to, any ideas?

until the buyer pays the listing will remain active and someone else can buy it.
