Hi
Been a while since I've been here and its all change 🙂
I found this very wacky Aynsley trio but can't find any info at all on the pattern, have searched those china replacement type site but after looking through tons of pages I've seen nothing close to it. Does anyone know what the pattern might be called or anything else about it, evven if you've since such a design before.
I think from the backstamp its late deco so wandered if maybe it was an experimental type piece that proved unpopular??
Cheers Kathryn

😞 Kathryn, sorry but I can't make out the backstamp from the photo. It's very blurred. Perhaps you could retake it?

It appears to be an unfinished pattern; the blank white reserves should probably have flowers or something in them and then it would be embellished with gold. For some reason this left the factory incomplete; it may have been a reject, perhaps sold as a second..

Hi I upgraded my camera yesterday and re-took the pic so hopefully thats clearer now. Says Bone china either side of the crown, Aynsley in the scroll, and England underneath.
Thanks Kathryn

hi Jes
Thanks, thats an interesting idea! I can't see any of the usual signs of it being a second eg. scratched through or an S or A on the back of any of the pieces but that might make sense. I'll have another closer look at it
Thanks
