Royal Worcester saucer marked TWIN

Can anyone tell me why a little Royal Worcester saucer measuring only 3¾" diameter, would have the word TWIN handpainted on the roses pattern please?  I'm guessing it dates back to 1918 as it has two dots either side of an asterisk underneath the circle.
Many thanks 🙂

have you got a picture? Do you mean it is painted on the front?

Just seen on the bottom right edge of the saucer.
It appears to have been added when painted.  I've had a look, as far as I was able, for Royal Worcester artists, but haven't found anyone to match the name.

Its really pretty.  I think its a demitasse saucer??? I can't imagine using anything so tiny and delicate though.

I can't say I know much about RW at all, but I do know that they did sell blanks for amateur decorators, so if you can't identify it as a factory decorator that might be a possibility.

Oooer - what has happened to the posting which gave the info that a Miss Twinberrow signed her pieces "TWIN" ???  It seems to have disappeared. 😮  My last posting was in response to that. Most strange.
