L & Sons Willow vase With Gf.B Mark on it.

Hello Was wondering if anyone can Help with An L & Son Hanley willow vase. it has GF.B made in England printed in black  to the right of l & Sons makers mark.

My question is Sorry who is Gf.B ? A company or business or artist.I have tried reasearching and come up with George freddrick Bowers But I the time frame does not sit right.please help.

Well this is an interesting one. the backstamp of L & Sons is Lancaster & Sons and was produced during the 1920s in Hanley. The mark of GF.B has got me stumped. The only manufacturer with those initials that I'm aware of is George Frederick Bowers of Tunstall, not a million miles away from Hanley. Usually I would day that Lancaster had probably bought in old stock from them, however Bowers this is not a Bowers backstamp & they went out of business in1868 & Lancaster didn't start production until 1900 so that seem extremely unlikely. My only other suggestion is that GF.B is a retailer and one that I'm not aware of.
